And yet everytime I have tried direct, it's been more expensive. Hell, I have walked in and asked them to give me the best price they can which is always more than Agoda. The have said they can't do it that cheap, I have stood there, booked with Agoda and then checked in… Bizzare. That does not always mean it's always cheaper, just seems to be for me.
I don't check every time but the occasional time I check it's more going direct.
I am not sure what the rip off compliant is? Dick didn't get rich giving his product away.
Even I had the same experience, when I called the hotel they did not even ask me the expected rate.. I was told “all rates are the same…”
If the coupon code box is not showing up on the Agoda booking form, close Agoda and click through to the Agoda website from either the Google Check availability ad (on the right hand side of the search results if you search for the hotel in Google) or from the TripAdvisor website and the coupon code box will then show up for you on the Agoda booking form (and the nightly price will also probably be cheaper too than going straight to the Agoda website).
This seems to be back. I was offered it today when viewing hotels.
I couldn't get cash rewards to work when using the 12% master card promotion.
This might be better if cash back works.
