CHINA HAS APPROXIMATELY 143.000.000 SHEEP WHICH IS ABOUT 44.000.000 MORE THAN AUSTRALIA, I DON'T THINK THAT CHINA WOULD BE SHIPPING SHEEP SKINS FROM AUSTRALIA TO MAKE UGG BOOTS.

Well they certainly push the made in Australia bit online a lot , even though only a small percentage of boots are.

I would take their online 'promotion' of themselves with a big handfull of salt.
