Saw this recently on their facebook page. It's cheapest I've seen so far. Used market was still going for about $900 recently. I would've buy it but my Zhiyun is still functioning perfectly well, so can't justify it.

This gear is more towards serious filmmaker. DJI Osmo Pocket is probably way more suitable for those looking for holiday/travel use.

    • Dang thats good. I might upgrade my Zhiyun!

  • Was about to get this, then I found the Moza Air 2, due to my indecisiveness I missed the 10% off ebay sale.

Has anyone used a Moza product before, looks to excel in pretty much all areas?

    • No never seen or used it. All my fellow filmmakers are using Zhiyun. But why do you even compare? From my quick search DJI Ronin-S is now cheaper than the Moza Air 2, and you should know very well how reliable DJI product has been in the past. Unless Moza Air offers features that is worth the extra $$ that you really can't live without, I really can't see why you should even consider it.

I do believe DJI make reliable products, my drones have been great. However, I like to look into all avenues before putting a fair bit of cash down on something.

In terms of the Moza, the main feature is being able to configure all settings on the gimbal from a screen on the gimbal itself, removing the need of using the phone APP.

        • I was in the same boat until I noticed dji have released a control panel that does the same thing (and more). The modularity is what sold me on the ronin (direct connect plate and the control panel). They're also supposedly bringing out a dual handle attachment…

  • I personally haven’t heard enough review about Moza. If that is the only feature you may want to think how often do you configure gimbal settings? From experience I just set it once (much like how i set my drone gimbal setting) then almost forget about it. Like Zhiyun, DJI offer several configurable gimbal modes that you can select by tapping a button. Thats good enough IMO

    • You can adjust reaction/speed of follow directly via the control panel wheel. That's something that I'd find very useful. But dji have also released a control panel accessory for the same purpose.

  • Hi, I'm very new to heavy gimbals.
I have Canon 5d mark 3 with 24-70 f4 lens and some other prime lenses.
I need a gimbal to shoot videos with these gear.
I'm torn between DJI Ronin-S, Zhiyun Crane 2 and Zhiyun's new gimbal Weebil lab.

Your recommendation will be really appreciated.

    Thanks.

P.S: I like Ronin-s but one thing that worries me the weight.

    • Haven’t had much experience with Weebil. But Ronin-S and Crane 2 would do the job. Though looking at comparison video, Ronin-S would get my vote for its more powerful motor and design. In terms of weight, there’s only 0.5kg difference between the two (DJI slightly heavier) but its not like Zhiyun is gonna feel much lighter anyway especially with ur body & lens configuration. If ur concern is weight, u need to get mirrorless body and/or lighter lens
