Imagine embarking on a three-day expedition to these caves, Phong Nha and En Cave, both camping near a cave entrance and at a farmstay in the park. Before this expedition, spend 2 days trekking and exploring the Mai Chau Valley, home to many minority hill-tribe villages, and a 3-day/2 night cruise to the farthest islets of Ha Long Bay. And afterwards, get out into the heart of the Mekong Delta in Cai Be, visiting the hundred-year-old floating markets. And don’t worry, you’ll have time to explore the charming old quarter of Hanoi and historical Ho Chi Minh City at the beginning and end of your trip.
