I wouldn't mind hunting one if it doesn't have too many problems. Might be great for a living room with only a 28" for guests and visitors. Alternatively if you can recommend any other good 75" 4K TV's either for general viewing, gaming, pc monitor usage or what not.

My aim is to try get a 75" 4K TV for a PC in the next few years when I make the upgrade to 4k gaming over the next few years currently just fully enjoying 1080p 24" gaming and it is not bad but I have always dreamt of big screen 4k gaming since I ever found out about the possibility of 4K large screen gaming many many years ago.. initially it was to play Warcraft 3 / Age of Empires 2 / Starcraft 1 on a large TV but now it is honestly all the beautiful games coming out nearly every month now with tonnes more on the way.

So yeah what large screen setups have you got but honestly I don't mind getting something cheap so I can tune out to general TV and Netflix in the meantime while I save up (I don't have a TV to myself yet just a PC lol)

Perhaps you should not worry until you have the money. No point mulling over a TV, which no doubt, will be out of date in the next few years.

    • when you're bored, you dream of what you want to have for future

    • Well true but if I did that with my pc I would not have been able to game at all or participate in certain things over the past few months.

I like to start small or low with the "inferior" or low end products (but not too low end unless they are dirt cheap and don't take up space and is disposable) then work my way up through the ranks to the supreme high end best in class models.

It gives me a wider range and depth in knowledge and also I can chime in in more ranges of products and give valuable first hand input on other people deciding on quality vs value etc.

TL;DR did anybody buy or has tried the tv in my title or not really?

    • Thanks, damn that thread is making think twice heavily now on this decision / purchase.

I will be using another device to do YouTube and Netflix but the remote breaking and spazzing out is definitely a deal breaker.

      Cheers thanks jlapr1.

How close are you sitting to the screen?

    • This will be for a mini lounge setup in the attic so kind of like normal tv viewing distance maybe 1 - 2 metres but don't worry I know my eyes and to keep a long story short I highly benefit from bigger screens for example I am using a nice 1440p 8 inch tablet now close to my face to type this message.

I prefer to get the 75 as I can sit further back if it is too big which it won't be for my use case scenario of mini carpeted lounge than get something smaller like a 55 inch and be forced to sit closer.. yeah I am one of the weird ones who likes to inspect scenes in great insane detail with my eyes pretty much touching the screen.. It is kind of how I got my bad eyesight at like 12 by using the original gameboy the same way haha lol.. been a gamer for nearly 25 years now.
