Lindt Balls in a Tin $15 for 455g ($3.30/100g) @ Woolworths

40

After much searching in several stores I can safely say this is the best value deal (the most balls for your money), so long as you are looking for a variety of flavours. Also comes with (?) handy tin. Might also be useful as a giant cookie cutter.

Works out at $3.30/100g which is much better than what you would get from official stores.

I would try to calculate the price per ball but I need to get out more…

  • Woolies is an unofficial store?

If you don't care about the Tin & Costco membership card holder, you can get 608g for $16.99 and sometimes $12.99.

  • Naaah. The sub $3/100g deals come around plenty enough to wait for. Usually $2.85 innit?

    • Didn’t know that! That’s a pretty good price.

The 355g box is currently on sale at Woolies for $10, so about $28.50/kg. The same thing was also $10 2 weeks ago at Coles. You are paying for the tin in this one.

The metal tin will be cooler than the handbag my balls are usually kept in.

  • I don't even buy Lindt balls but every catalog I do check out the value of the various packages etc. Some are just insulting. I think the wine bottle bag might be very slighty better value, unless you want the tin.
