I really want one of these but I just don't have a use for it. Someone convince me otherwise?

Here's me convincing you not to get one at this current price.

      Past Deal

      • +2

It's true, I am annoyed for missing that deal, but the rep has clearly stated a bunch of times that it was an error and won't be happening again. :(

      • Bought it last time very very bright torch.

It is programmable very complicated with one button. Be careful if you pressed it wrongly you will have to reset it.

    • +1

it will be really helpful in a power cut or power cut during a storm

      • Yep, on a low setting pointed at the ceiling it lights up our 7x5.5m lounge room and send enough spilled light to the kitchen and dining. I can't wait until we get first world power in Australia.

    • The flashlight may save your life one day when the walking dead come around!

      • You really need a wider flood for when the hoard get real close.

    • I use it for the safety of the neighbours pets.
The neighbours don't hear them barking at night, but do see the sun come up when I shine the light over to check on their 'safety'.

      • That's a solid idea.

  • It just stands there in my storage shelf. Used it once since 2017.

    • You need to go camping monthly, or at least go on search parties. :p

    • What torch do you find yourself using instead? Just the fact that it doesn't use C Size batts like the one I replaced has been a bonus.

  • I've got one, best torch I have ever had, I use it about once or twice a week when i go night fishing.

You can also use it on max mode in your room at night and it will light up brighter than day time for cleaning or finding things

Note: This is not the best price, I got mine at $58, and there was a price error around $30ish dollars before

    • know how to mount it on your head by any chance? they sell something like this anywhere?

  • this bears striking resemblance to the O-Light?

  • Why do you keep tempting me with this ridiculousness?!?

  • -5

the CFMEU Q8 is more powerful

    • +3

Got a link? Google search just directs to you saying the same thing in another thread, someone asking you for a link and you not replying.

      • it seems people have no historical sense of labour unions within Australia.

        • It seems people don't care about the historical sense of labour unions in a post about a flashlight on a bargain site.

  • I heard rumors of a new version coming out? Not sure if true. Either this or Emisar D4S…. although the Emissar is $97 delivered HMMM

    • Another brand made a Q8 with XP-L Hi CW LEDs - cooler tint, tighter hotspot and further throw. They're also working on an extended battery case so you can fit additional multiples of four batteries in eg 8, 12, 16 ad infinitum.

D4S is nice, almost a pocket friendly mini-Q8.

  • Cashrewards may not work. I had a recent Amazon AU purchase disallowed because i used a coupon that was not listed on CR. I can't see this one listed.

    • It worked for me when purchased on the last sale on 14 Nov.
