  • Ideally this should have wireless charging.

    • You would be lucky to get 1amp of capacity out of it after the power loses

These things are actually really bad.
There's no way of knowing when they are charged and they don't hold charge long. When they do hold charge, they are the slowest things ever. The "integrated LED light" shows up whenever it's plugged in.
    Btw it's not precharged.
$4 paperweight? That's essentially all mine is now - except I paid around $20 for the 4400mah version.

Although I admit the charging cable was kind of handy. Replaced it with a better cable though shortly after.

Sure there might be some people who'll give it a go for $4 but I'm happy with my Xiaomi Power Bank for $20. Tons better.

    • Good for stocking stuffers for people you dont like - e.g. Your co-workers during Kris Kringle, Your boss, in-laws etc

      • I bet people will be pissed if they receive this for Ozbargain secret santa though lol.

        • +1

I think we're all getting Xiaomi Mijia Pens this year. That or Samsung Evo+ MicroSD cards lol

          • @BargainKen: They'll probably be a few that'll give something really cheap like a $1 USB cable still.
I'd be alright with a Xiaomi Mija Pen, something different at least than SD cards hahaha

  • 4 dollars just for the cable, maybe? Good deal?

    • A buck on eBay.

I bought a different Laser powerbank for $10 from Big W that came with a "triple" cable.

Mainly wanted just cable but gave the charger a try. Rubbish first day of use and already charges on and off depending on how my cable is plugged in… you know what I mean

  • These are super old stock, I remember buying these years ago
phones nowdays have literally double the capacity of these so look towards those 10k mah ones on ebay or whatnot

  • take out its 18650 battery for 4 bucks…

    • Hmmm…
Some people looking at the Astrolux C8 XP-L HI flashlight were looking for a cheap way to recharge the 18650 battery. Does this use an 18650 battery? Would it be possible to open up the enclosure and still use it as a charger (without setting your house on fire)?

      • very possible this uses single 18650 because of the shape shown in picture and typical 2200mah capacity… but, no stock in VIC I think..

      • +1

yes , I think you can use it as charger with minor circuit change (18650 could be soldiered) , and keep it under your eyes to avoid any possible danger.

        • At this price, given the B&M over heads, I wouldnt be surprised if it was a fake 18650 filled with sand.

      • Cheaper to buy a TP4056 module and 18650 holder. 1A protected charging.

  • These are the worst one. I've bought one years ago. Took ages to charge. Used it once and now it's a paperweight.

  • Useless product.. Don't even buy it!

  • Useless! We bought a few on boxing day sales one year. Waste of money and hardly charge any power to phones.

  • This is absolute rubbish. Save up a bit more and get a legit xiaomi 10k powerbank.
