      Didn't get it.

I got an updated T&C's SMS

      • Same here … no e-gift card for me :(.

I am not sure what is the point of posting this kind of targeted deal. If you receive it you will get it if you don't you can't get it anyway.

Reassures people it’s not a scam.. I got it thought it was a scam

      • +1

Yeah thought it was a scam too but got my voucher and just used it at Coles. I actually received a similar text in August offering the same thing and didn't reply.

      • I bet if someone mentions this to Coles/Kmart Facebook, the Rep there will say it is a scam.

        • They work. I work for Coles and someone used one yesterday.

targeted offer should have the tag [BRAG] instead

I like getting advised of targeted offers. I get way too many emails and texts so this makes me go looking for them. Thanks OP.

Wow how many texts do you get?

I tried sending 'Coles' to 2121, will advise if I get a reply.

    • +2

Great minds think alike! I did that 30minutes ago, no replies…

      • I just realized I got an SMS from 2121 a few years back for some other perk, I picked Masters but never got a reply.

    • +4

I just tried that too. No reply yet. Feeling unloved by Optus :C

It would be interesting to hear from those who receive this SMS

    • What plan are you on with Optus?

On 1 year contract till 7th of April 2019.

Been with Optus since Nexus 6P so late 2015 from memory.

      • Same plan and no go - didn't get. Probably been with them about the same period too.

        • Wow ok so just completely random?

          • @bargain ben: I had free dominos via txt a while ago, maybe that's why I didn't get this one

  • I believe that the 'App' code will always work on Optus regardless of if you get the SMS promoting the download of Their app.

Jumped up and down when I saw a new message from Optus… and its only a SMS for privacy policy :(

    • Hi, Optus has launched a new Privacy Policy containing updated information about our credit, analytics and advertising practices. View at optus.com.au/privacy

I feel like I must be on the naughty list.

  • They sent me a your bill is ready sms does that count?

    • About as much as my "Hi, from Saturday 5PM to Tuesday 10AM AEST we will be upgrading our systems…" message.

  • Someone had to message back… "why not both?"
    cue cheesy jingle

I'm on Optus broadband. Nothing from then.

Aww, all I ever get are "Hi, Optus has launched a new Privacy Policy"
