Has anyone managed to use eGift cards for paying for an online order with Coles or Wollies? I can get discounted eGift cards but we primarily use online ordering for our shopping. If I choose not to pay for the order when I place it will they accept eGift cards for payment when I pick up the order?

Sorry Coles online dont accept their own egift card.
You have to pay your order in full to place the online order. Pick up is like grab and go
woolies you can use egiftcard, the egiftcard comes with 2 redemption numbers one for in-store and one for online.
i use egiftcards all the time to pay for Woolies online orders - no probs
I don't think you can choose not to pay when ordering. Woolworths online accepts their own egiftcards while Coles doesn't.
Works for woolies but not Coles online.
I order these on a weekly basis
I've used the WOW eGift cards online many times. No problems.
Just found this out … Coles gift cards aren't accepted at Coles Online.
Coles Online is so damn far behind everyone else (since when could you not use a stores gift card online). One would think with the extra profits and encouraging people online that you might actually be able to use a Coles gift card to pay for a Coles Online order. I'm guessing that most people use Woolworths (like me) because their website is a lot better, their click and collect is much easier (no having to call a mobile phone on arrival), and they allow you to use Woolworths gift cards in their online store.
Its three years on and they still haven't implemented it … totally incompetent.
I don't see why not.
