Seems like a good deal. For people looking for gaming + TV monitor, this ticks a lot of boxes like HDR (though below average but one of the best in this budget), 1440p, 144hz, VA (high contrast) etc

Not as good a deal as the $480 + delivery offer for the 27" version from MWave the other day, but still a decent price.
If you're planning on rocking a NVIDIA card though, might be worth grabbing a 27" IPS number for under $700 when you can, plus next year's panels look pretty sweet for TN, VA and IPS alike.
PCCG do overcharge on shipping though, and in the case of this item it looks like they are charging $58 for standard shipping (at least to my location!)
Just added it as a option
There’s a few alternatives here.
https://monitors.aftershockpc.com.au/products/aftershock-x34…Quick google: "VA panels provide a good middle ground with better-than-IPS refresh rates and contrast levels, but have worse viewing angles and color production, although generally still better than TN. Response times are VA's largest downfall, though, being slower than IPS and its variants and TN"
May not be good for proper gaming??
Proper gaming is subjective but they are definitely not good for competitive games
yea sorry I meant competitive
LG 32 inch Monitor how does it look compared to this Samsung monitor? I need a new monitor and can't decide yet. and dont wanna spend a lot
Price has gone up $100, now $799.0
procrastination has paid off, saved $699!Lol
What specs are you looking for? I'll be on lookout for any deals in the coming daysI was after a 144hz screen for the holidays, but maaaan there are so many little variables and pros and cons
I was dead set on this (money burning a hole in my pocket) but TFTCentral says that unlike its little brother, this one is not flicker free (it uses PWM)
http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/samsung_c32hg70.htmI have a GTX 1070, so need to buy an AMD card for freesync-2
But then AMD cards seems to not be great value for $, so I'm not spending $600 just so I can use F/sync2I then realise the next gen of monitor technology will come next year .. 200hz 3440x1440 !!!
So thought I'd just save up and splurge next year

Is it G Sync or free sync?
