This actually makes me think Lego official accessories are not rip-off anymore.

Are these the usual IKEA ones available on eBay worldwide?

    • Hi Hybroid,

The external surround is, we then use this to house our digitally printed backgrounds on 300gsm gloss stock, which is then adhered by hand to prevent bubbles which others usually create. They are then finished off by merticulously attaching LEGO 3660 bricks to proudly display your Minifigures.

How can you call it "Handcrafted in Australia" then when you only add a printed background to it? Lol.. Frame and glass was mass produced in China for IKEA? That's sad.

I used to be in the Lego minifig scene and from the looks of it, I'm glad I got out. I've still got minifig series 1-16 or something laying around in a box and I just cannot keep up with the exorbitant prices.

These look exactly like Ikea ribba frames with stock paper (high GSM) and Lego pieces glued to it. Most of the cost involved will be the frame + shipping which might be easier to source from your local Ikea store.

  • how come the marvel one doesnt have any mini figurines?

That does NOT seem worth it. Are these even licensed?
Surely there would have to be a cheaper way to "make" these yourself.
They look like they're store bought picture frames with blocks glued on for the figures to stand.

    • Surely there would have to be a cheaper way to "make" these yourself.

Sure, but a lot of people are lazy. And collecting all the bits yourself is a pain…

      Frame: $10 - eg https://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/80378404/
      Printing: $1
      Bricks: $2.50 - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/182752162363
      Glue: 50 cents
      Licensing fee: lol no

    • For the price I thought it was the laser cut perspex design (which is a lot more reusable). But its the printed board with glued on bricks, which you could do yourself but probably not to the quality offered here I guess.

Please remove the link to this website due to copyright violations.

    • Huh?

      • The use of copyrighted material such as logotypes and/or names. A clear empty frame is fine, one sold with Disney, Marvel and DC/Warner Bros proprietaries is not unless it is an ‘official’ sanctioned or licensed product, which these are neither.

  • how do you play with them?
    .

    • Just for show on your wall. No one plays with Lego anymore :p

  • Do you licence the images for the background?
Deal is dodgy as for IKEA frames and non licenced pictures

  • Lego Minifigures displayed are not included
