    • Done, thanks!

    • These are lighter.

      • How about the size? Which is smaller for travelling? Thanks!

      • and more expensive.

      • Agree with mouth. This NC15 is much lighter than that from TaoTronics. Again, buy it, and if you don't like it, return it for a full refund. You'll be surprised how light, yet great sound are these!

    • It would appear to be from the same manufacturer who makes the products Taotronics rebadge.

  • how is the sound quality?

Does anybody remember the days when a product description actually described the product, instead of being just a random bunch of crap words, some of which may be relevant… if your lucky?

Honestly I wouldn’t trust the reviews on all those Chinese brand including this and Taotronics.
The sound quality of the Taotronics BH22 is very average, just better than no sound.
Btw, noise cancelling is not for everyone. Quite a lot of people experience headache soon after turning on the active noise cancelling.

    • Yep I have just received the Taotronics Bluetooth TX/Rx with Optical, and their top in ear headset and they are garbage and way overpriced. Contrary to their comments in the reviews, the seller and Taotronics ignore support requests.

The RX/TX unit has terrible lag on transmit, and does not appear to use aptX as stated in the product info. The sound is horribly filtered ripping all bass and a lot of the bottom of the mid range. The resampling results in a terribly uncomfortable harsh sound. The earphones on the other hand are all bass, and the microphone level is way to low for mobile calls. The VAVA 28 on the other hand has great sound, but again has a useless microphone.

I got a pair of these for my old man paired with the Taotronics APTX bluetooth TX to use with the TV (apparently the neighbours don't enjoy listening to the 7pm ABC news).

He really likes them, appreciates being able to hear the telly more clearly ("I can actually follow the story now on some of those shows, others I doubt even the writters know what's going on") and said they're comfy enough to wear for the evening. and the "noise cancelling works well, except on your mother, but I suspect only the grim reaper has the technology to silence her. It make the phone ring quieter, so I can ignore it".

I'm waiting for his grandson to compare his Taotronics & these so see which sound better & have better ANC.

    • It be awesome if you can share the comparison later.

I recently brought my husband the Taotronics and he liked it. Looking for headphones for my father and wondering if I should go with the same Taotraonics (not on special) or this.

    • BTW Your old man shoulds totes awesome

    • Was that the non-optical version of the TX/RX unit? It seems to not have the lag the more expensive model has. The optical version also has terrible sound colouring which leaves only upper midrange and some top end frequencies - which might seem clearer to older people and the associated hearing loss(they hear more bass in everything).

  • Hi OP, Any chance for 40% off NC75 or even better (bring this deal back https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/401053)?

    • I'll try… :)

      • i am in if you can get the $69.99 price
