    I went with Amazon in the end because of my Audible collection, I have some kids audiobooks that can now play through the Echo without having to open the app. Have yet to delve into the home automaton stuff… I have a few Smart Xiaomi lightbulbs, will they work with the Echo Plus?

        If it is the xiaomi zigbee versions apparently they don't, but you would already have their hub if that was the case.

    I use the Google home for some functions like casting, google music and the Alexa for controlling Sony TV and Sonos Speakers

      Yep that ends up being the best. Google Homes everywhere, and Echos where it makes sense.

    Stores vary depending on the light fitting you want also, eg. for E27 the closest for me was two stores, each 9km away; for B22 the closest store was 30km away.
