Having just purchased the Blueskysea B1W dashcam from the recent deal, i was in the market for a high endurance SD card. These are designed specifically for continuous use by dashcams and surveillance cameras.
This is the cheapest price i have come across on the market.

write cycles/patterns for dashcam usage
They use different flash memory to allow more write cycles before wearing out (important since you're constantly writing/overwriting data on the card with a dash cam). Not so important for, eg, mobile phones where you're only occasionally writing.
It sounds like these would be good for raspberry pi's that you are going to use a lot?
They are rated quite slow for read/write (20MB/s) so wouldn't be ideal. Reading data doesn't 'wear out' the flash, and there wouldn't be too many cases where you're writing copious amounts of data with a rPi (in contrast, a dash cam recording @ 1080p60 could completely fill one of these 32GB cards in <3 hours, and it'd be doing this over and over again). Wish I could find some stats on how 'standard' µSD's compare re: endurance (or might do some of my own testing).
Thanks for the answer.
I have use samsung evo plus card on my dash cam for 3 years now. Still going well. This endurance card typically warranty is only 2 years..save the money and go with evo plus cards which goes on sale now and then.
Sandisk also won’t warrant their normal cards used in continuous video recording applications. These they will.
For $15-20 does it even matter?
has anyone that bought one had their order delivered? ordered it last week and still hasn't been shipped.
I ordered one just before I posted and received it today
wow they are not very quick with delivery are they?
not at all … took them at least 5 days to send it
Are these “endurance” sdcards a gimmick? I’m not sure what make these endurance over a regular card.
