Straight out of New York, and now available in Vintage Cellars across Australia comes Brooklyn Lager. Brewed to a recipe that pre-dates Prohibition. Aromatic qualities of the beer are enhanced by “dry-hopping”, the centuries old practice of steeping the beer with fresh hops as it undergoes a long, cold maturation. The result is a wonderfully flavourful beer, smooth, refreshing and very versatile with food. Pairs fantastically with cheeses such as Manchego, Gruyere, Aged Cheddar and Stilton. Alternatively, try it with fried fish or spiced Chinese dishes. It’s the beer of NYC!

Amber-gold in colour and displays a firm malt centre supported by refreshing bitterness and floral hop aroma with caramel malts showing in the finish.

      It will say but if you are drinking this been in AU you are drinking a locally brewed version.

      Which is good as fresh is best, but they are sticking you with a higher 'import' price.

      My bad - this link says that Lion will brew it at Little Creatures in Geelong, not at Squires in Camperdown.

    Coopers was brewing Brooklyn Lager in 50l kegs for the Australian market, but packaged product was imported.

    Kirin owns 25% of Brooklyn Brewery so may choose to brew and package locally.
