      Basically chromecast 2 that can do 4k streaming. I believe it was released at the same time though…

          3 is newer and superior in the build and receiver tech.
          It still does not support 4k, I think they reserve that for the Ultra so that they can charge more.

            @epoch007: Yes Chromecast 3 has minor improvements with Bluetooth, please excerpt below talikng about GG2 vs GG3

            There appears to only be one new change in the updated Chromecast: Bluetooth is no longer relegated to the setup process. You can now use the wireless connectivity to connect additional hardware such as headphones or possibly even a keyboard. The new model also supports 4GHz Wi-Fi and multiroom audio. This seems to be a minor update at best, but at least it’s something more than a color swap.

      The Chromecast Ultra supports 4K and HDR, the other versions of Chrome cast are limited to max 1080p. And use the older Marvel processor.

      Its a pretty sturdy mount, similar to the magnetic version made by them, haven't had any issues so far.
