Just saw this on their website, we all know Apple don't usually put too much of a discount on their products.
Had a look at their online prices but they seemed the same so I think this might be an in-store only deal.

If your not a student, click the button that says your a student….
agreed. ive ordered dozens of times as a student online and not once have they ever asked for ID (other people have even picked up my package on my behalf!)
I have done that numerous times and saved over $1000. I was just trying to be ethical with my advice. :p
EDU discount is far from 10% off
Mac Mini needs to ditch those C2D CPUs - so last decade!!
Haha, totally agree.
Judging by the surprisingly big update to the MacBook Pro range earlier this month we should see some good improvements.
be excluding ipad 2 as they have none as well :)
And the fact that it's not a Mac?
just in time for a new macbook air, sweet :D
Is this advertised anywhere on newspapers etc ?
Thanks for posting this - I took advantage of it to get a Macbook Air.
If you're a student, it's probably cheaper to use the Education Store or a Campus store if you have access and are eligible.
If you're not a student, refurbished Macs are just as cheap, if not cheaper if you're looking for a custom configuration (which you can't get from JB as far as i know).
Either way, it's tipped that Apple will be releasing new iMacs in 4 - 6 weeks. Similar thing applies to the Mac Mini.
