A stack of increases here to enjoy over Cyber Monday. Amazon 11% ends at 3PM 4PM AEDT. Please ensure you read the terms for each store before purchasing as some have very strict guidelines (ie. Amazon). Should be a great shopping day, and possibly a few more surprises from us through the day as well. Thank you as always for the incredible support. Have fun :)

Nice! Ta TA. Was just about to buy some stuff from Amazon.

      Nice! Ta TA

      Nice tight arse, Tightarse?

      • +1

        Gotta keep it tight tight.

  • +1

Now I need a cheap PS4 deal. Wife decided after all the sales that she now wants a 2nd one!

    • Easier to get a cheaper wife.

      • Lol, yeah, you can pay for the divorce costs and reimburse half of my belongings that would go with it.

    • +1

haven't even got one… now you want two?!?!

      • haha, happens when you have more than 1 person in the household that want to play at the same time.

        • Understandable.

My mate took his PS4 + his 65" TV to "LAN" at his other mates house (PS4+65" setup)

  • +13

Amazon has been absolutely dominating these last few days.

    • -2

If you have monitored prices on some Amazon items you'd see they were cheaper when Cashback was 8%.

      • have you heard about eBay…

        • Not sure if it's relevant to the fact I mentioned.

  • +6

Any ebay sitewide discount for Cyber Monday?

    • Hanging out for one too.

    • Hopefully 15% later in the day, won't hold my breath though

  • -3

How do they work out the cashback, I bought a new Laptop from Microsoft and Cash rewards were advertising up to 5.5% cashback with MS, $3400 Laptop and got back $21.63, that's less than 1% pretty dodgy!

    • +2

There are different cashback rates for different categories. Laptop is under PC hardware, 0.7 percent of $3400 is $23.8, may be less since GST is often not calculated. So deducting the GST, a $3400 laptop is $3060 = $21.42 cashback

    • Cashback on PC Hardware: 0.70 %

      • -1

I read through the terms and couldn't see that listed anywhere, where did you find that?

          • -2

@tightarse: ok thanks, not dodgy but pretty ordinary cashback for the amount spent, I couldn't see any of that info on the cash rewards site when I went to click through and read the terms, better than nothing I guess.

            • @RonDMC: cash back is the teaser, the real deal is stacking and/or crazy discounts which not happen very often.

            • +1

@RonDMC: Definitely there on both desktop and mobile/App sites. Here's the link

              https://www.cashrewards.com.au/microsoft

Can't do anything about the 'ordinary' rate on PC Hardware. Microsoft pays what it pays.

Receive 75,000 bonus points when you spend $3000 in 90 days

Pretty much there after 4 days..

    • +5

      Mr Money Bags over here!

  • 80+ Cm increase? Guess the spam mobs have always been conservative with their estimations then…

    Thanks for the discounts TA!

  • I just recontracted one of my Telstra service last night for 24 months :(
    Missed out on $45!

    • I did the same over the weekend sigh And here I was happy about getting $90 back, now I bummed I missed out on $45.

  • On the website it says the Amazon deal expires at midnight not 3pm? Can you please confirm TA?

    • Was cached and now updated. Also, 11% extended to 4PM AEDT.

      • +1

TA the 4pm restriction on the amazon offer refers to the time purchase is made/finalised at Amazon not on the time we click on/through the CashRewards website right?

    • I must be blind.

Where do you see times for the amazon cashback on cashrewards site?

      Actually just found it myself.

Featured Offers-> Scroll down to Cyber Monday Sales Plus Cashback and click on the Amazon link there.

  • Thanks TA. What amazing numbers there!

  • Cmon Amazon, out with a switch deal

  • Assuming no crazy ps4 deal is happening, this may be the last chance to pick up one.

  • +2

Spicing things up with lovehoney 25% TA.

    Gotta keep it fresh

    • There are over 400 reviews for Clone-A-Willy.

  • @tightarse For the apple cashback the conditions say "The following products are not eligible for Cashback: New iPad Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini, Bose, Gift Cards, Gift Wrap, iTunes, Shipping."

Is that all MacBook Air's old and new excluded? Unlike the mac mini they still sell the old model. Thanks.

    • Updated :)

The following products are not eligible for Cashback: New iPad Pro, New MacBook Air, New Mac Mini, Bose, Gift Cards, Gift Wrap, iTunes, Shipping.

      • +1

Great because I purchased an old mac macbook air through the link last night :)

  • For amazon i see 2 offers, 1 expires today and the other not until 30/06/2019. Both are for 11%. Is it true or buggy?
Sorry im new so maybe noob question

    • +1

Please just know that 11% ends at 4PM AEDT. The 2nd 'offer' you're seeing was created specifically for Amazon's Global Store and this. The Cashback rate can change at any time. The date is a system requirement.

      • Amazon says 8% now

        • Was all fixed by TA within seconds as always +100 to TA

  • Interested to see that Vodafone up there for upto 99% off, wondering what that might includeđź‘€

    • Cashback value is based on the percentage of one month's payment for plans (excluding handset repayments), and the purchase price for Prepaid SIM cards.

  • How long does it usually take for the purchase history to update? Should I be worried if my purchase doesnt show up instantly?

    • took a week for a couple of ebay ones to come through. My Amazon was a lot quicker within an hour but I had another that didn't seem to track but that might be because I already had items in the basket.

  • Bought some stuff from Groupon this morning with an extra 15% off CYBER15 code. With an increased 20% cashback from CR, this makes my purchase amazing! Thank you TA

  • I'm so sad :( I jumped on the Telstra deal last Friday and have now realised I don't need it since I'll be out of the country quite a bit next year.

My number is still being ported from Vodafone though, which is doubly annoying.

    woeisme

  • Does this include buying items from the Amazon US offerings? (Sorry if this is a noob question.)

    • +1

      This will explain it all.

  • Dang! If only the Xbox one X was still $50 off for Prime members :(

  • why does CR never track my amazon orders?

    • +1

What am I doing wrong that causes CR to never track my amazon orders?

      FTFY.

  • want to sign a new mobile broadband plan, but don't really understand how the cash back works. such as: 24 or 36 Month Mobile Broadband Plan with Tablet or Modem: 99.00 %, i can't find any relevant link in your page takes me to some particular plan

    • All Vodafone info is available on this page. Full screenshot here.

      • yes, i did find the screen u attached. but i can't click any link under the listed "special term", and after i clicked "see coupons and offers" button, it only brings 2 offers:
        1) Expires: 26/11/2018 Special Terms Vodafone
$40/mth gets you 40GB data plus 1 month plan fee wavered Up to 99.00% Cashback No coupon code is required

        2) Expires: 26/11/2018 Special Terms Vodafone Samsung Galaxy S9 with 10GB total data for $59/mnth over 36 months. Up to 99.00% Cashback No coupon code is required

or u can give a vodafone link for 99% of cashback?

        • Simply click Shop Now via this link and buy the plan you need. Don't leave the Vodafone page until you've totally completed your purchase.

    • I also don't understand how they can offer 99% cashback on the duration of this plan … I am still trying to find the T&C to determine whether it's 99% for the full 24/36 or just initial month.

      • actually vodafone waived 1st month cost for some plan as black friday promotion. we don't need go via cashrewards at all

        • If you had used CR, you would have received 1 month free from the promo, plus a further 99% of 1 month as Cashback :)

          • -1

@tightarse: Offer very misleading, the cashback is only for 1 month at 99%
Clearer details would stop store rep having to reply numerous times.
Offer is really around 10% per month on 12 month contract.

            • +3

@ausstox: Not misleading st all. In fact, the offer is presented precisely as Vodafone has asked us to promote it. Issue is that some choose to ask first and read terms later. This has been mentioned in the OP of this deal, and clearly outlined in dot points on the CR merchant page for Vodafone.

Cashback value is based on the percentage of one month's payment for plans (excluding handset repayments), and the purchase price for Prepaid SIM cards.

              • @tightarse: Read all the questions you have received, I am not alone, it is misleading and unclear. Moving forward take criticism from a customers point of view and move on

                • @ausstox: I appreciate this feedback, thank you. But please know also that I have Vodafone to contend with and this is how they want the offer called out, same as all other Cashback sites. So I guess it's either leave it as is, or don't have Vodafone on site at all.

                  • @tightarse: Fair enough, Thanks for the explanation. :)

                    • +1

@ausstox: Not a problem at all. It's a really delicate balance with merchants, especially telco. We either follow suit, or don't promote them. Thanks for understanding.

  • Hi Tightarse,

It says Amazon cashback is only 8%, even though the offer has extended until 4pm.

Will the 11% be tracked correctly?

    Thanks for doing this offer.

    • +1

Definitely 11%. Any issues, let me know :)

      • +1

        Thanks TA, much appreciated!

  • Amazon 11% expired now?

  • Gah, 3 hour time difference caught me out again!

    • +1

Me too. Thought it was daylight savings…

  • Hi Tightarse,
is the Amazon 8% cashback capped at $50 please clarify that thanks.

  • can anyone confirm whether the Amazon 8% cashback is capped at $50 or not thanks

    • No cap with Amazon at CR.

  • Hi tightarse,
are you able to increase Amazon cashback to 12% no cap and ebay to 2% for the ozbargain 12 celebration thanks
