Unless you beat it on PS3.

    • +7

Doesnt count until you finish it on ps4 as well

      • After beating it 3 times on PS3, I think I should give it more space. Maybe they'll even have it on PS+ on the eve of the part two release.

      • Despite how good this game is, and how curious I am about the port, I don’t think I have it in me to finish this game on Survivor or Grounded again.

    • Done that. But ps4 still counts specially since I don't use ps3 now.

      • Yeah it's a real investment and since it's mostly story focused, once you have done all the story beats over and over. There isn't much to pull you back other than nostalgia and fond memories. And those take time.

  • Not sure which exchange rate is currently better, but it's the same price on the US store as well. Just a note, either will work with the Left Behind DLC if you have bought that from the AU store.

Are you thinking of the PS3 version? Left Behind is included in this release anyway and the Left Behind you can get on the store is a standalone game, not DLC.

      • Is it? That's cool then…I got the Left Behind standalone game from the AU store and it actually downloads the entire thing, but the main game is locked away until purchased.

  • the lowest gift card amount available is CAD $20 though. I have been shopping with Canada PSN since 2015 and only then was the $10 available, which is now discontinued. So if you only want this game, stick with US as they have USD $10 giftcard which is around AUD$14.

If you have found a way to use your card/paypal on canada PSN, let me know

    • It used to be possible to sign up to CAD Paypal and use that. That's how I always topped up my Canadian PSN account. Infact I think I even posted instructions on ozbargain a while back. Let me see if I can dig it up

      • It used to be possible but now its not, i have tried it. Address of bank/card causes the issue now

some decent games you can buy with the remaining $14.01 credit on Canadian PSN.

  • Won’t work on AU accounts

    • Yeah, you just need to purchase it with a CA account (easily set up) and once you've downloaded it to your console you can play it with your AU account.

Possibly the best storytelling game ever made

So how do i buy this game if im in aus cant access the canada store??

    • I'd like to know as well.

    • Need to create a Canadian PSN account.

Just got a PS4 during the Amazon black Friday sale. It seems like the PS store is very complicated across regions when it comes to store regions and DLC compatibility too.

The good thing about the Xbox store is that accessing different region stores is as simple as changing the console region in the settings. Same account, multiple currencies.

    • Has your ps4 arrived yet?

      • Yep, arrived on Friday.

Ah you’re in Sydney so close to amazon warehouse. Mine should come tomorrow hopefully

    • How good are the sales prices compared to PS4 in general for the multi platform games?

Am on the fence about getting a One X but need a really good excuse other than true native 4k and 4k bluray, since I got a PS4 pro.

  • Hey OP, can you briefly explain how to take advantage of this? Can it be done with a AU PSN account?

    • +2

You would have to set up a Canadian account. It's fairly easy to do that though - you just give a Canadian address when signing up. Then you need to add some sort of payment method. This is the tricky part I think. I'm not sure if it would accept AU Paypal or Credit Cards, so ordering some pre-paid cards online might be the only option. Finally you can download it to your PS4 and play it on whichever account you like.

Whether that's worth the hassle is up to you. The cheapest it's been on the AU store is $17.95.

      • Perfect, thanks.

So this deal isn’t really $6 but more like over $20 since you need to buy a Canadian PSN card

        • yes, its not a deal unless you are interested in other games.

in USA PS Store, its is USD $5.99 and the lowest amount of giftcard is USD $10 which is AUD $13.80 at PCGameSupply.

          • @yummycoot: Have you tried purchasing a game from a US PayPal account? Because you can on xbox

            • @Griffindinho: only through giftcards. all 3 address needs to be same: the address in the psn account, the one in paypal account and the one in the bank account. unfortunately you cant change the address in the bank account to US just like that. You would have to use something like Payoneer which gives you a US Bank Account with US Address.

              • +1

@yummycoot: Haha damn. I guess gift cards are only option for PSN from other countries. On xbox before Microsoft blocked purchasing games via VPN from “cheap regions” example being I bought assassins creed odyssey gold edition for $59.

                • @Griffindinho: you got it a great price. On PSN, VPN only helps in using services such as Playstation Vue, PS Now and netflix library, even then you need to have an account in a region that supports those services such as US/Canada.

Open a US/Canada account even if you are not interested in this deal. BTW you can play the Last of Us for 7 days (free) on PC through PS Now and VPN

                  • +1

@yummycoot: Yeah I will. I bought yakuza 0 and God Of War from AU PSN being decent prices. And have SpiderMan coming with my PS4 from Amazon

                    • +1

@Griffindinho: when opening a US Account, make sure the fake address you enter is from a digital tax free state such Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon. Otherwise PS Store will charge a tax, for example, something might cost $19.99 but with tax, it could cost $20.7.

                      • @yummycoot: Thanks. Just say I purchase games on my US PSN account, then I want to log into my AU PSN. can I play the US games on that account on the same console? I heard somewhere you can if it’s the home console

                        • @Griffindinho: If you're just using the one console then yes, it's very easy to share games between the two accounts. If you have multiple consoles then it becomes more complicated.

                        • @Griffindinho: yes, just set the US account as primary ps4 and you will be able to play the game on AU account or any other account logged in that console. DLC is region locked so you wont be able to play the dlc bought on US store on AU account or vice versa.

                          • @yummycoot: DLC isn't region locked like that. You can play it on an account from any region, but the DLC and base game have to be from the same region.

                            • @mekktor: that's true for some, not all.

most dlc are locked like that, lets take FIFA for example, the packs that come with the icon/champions edition, they will not be available on the account other than the one that was used to purchase the game with.

  • I just bought this on the weekend for $20 at JB :/
