Brilliant headphones at a great price, however, they have a poor noise isolation meaning you can hear the outside world very well.
so good for running/biking?
Yeah, I guess it depends on what you want. If you are using them for sporting activities, then they are a good pair. But if you want to block out the universe and focus on some work or whatever, then they aren't preferable

It’s good in some circumstances, not in others. Good for running. Not good if you’re in a noisy gym and want to listen to your own music. Not good if you’re commuting on a noisy train.
When i bought my pair this was a feature to me. I have orhers that block noise. Given running and bike riding prob require being wireless more, having sound come in is a great safety feature

How's the battery life?
based on reviews battery life seems to be rubbish. decided not to buy after reading about people getting 2 hours battery life.
Don't know where you saw that.
I know mine has gotten 6 hours.
I don't normally use it from full to flat in one sitting, but a few times I did it got approximately 6 hours.Reviews left by people on Newegg page itself…
@keejoonc: Something wrong with those units then. Battery life isn’t great but is about 6 hours, definitely not 2.
