I have arctis 7 after going through 7 different headsets in two years coz of various garbage reasons with them. The Arctis 7 is unbelievable. Best headset I own but definitely needs the SteelSeries software as a minimum to unleash its quality.
Mic works ok without using the software, my friends have said the difference with the software has made it the best that they've heard of the headsets I've owned. Running on discord.
I paid $229 6 months ago so this price is a steal.
this is an epic price for what is regarded as the best bang for buck wireless headset even at full retail price, most retailers are still trying to sell the old model for $250+.
A good headset for PC. If you intend on purchasing for console, maybe get one of the cheaper versions, they sound the same. If you want surround on PS4 I think there was a more expensive version which came with an amp
Anyone have any recommendations for PS4? I use the Astro A40TR/Mixamp TR which suffer from the echoey reverb sound, Astro have said it’s just how that version of Dolby sounds. I need to find my old mixamp, th difference is night and day
