I've found that if the price seems decent the quality is crap, however if the quality seems good the price is crazy high. Are there any solid furniture stores around that have reasonable prices?
I'm in the market for a chaise lounge but don't wanna be spending >$1k on something that is gonna fall apart in the near future
Ive spent $1500 on a leather 3 seater 5 years ago and have it repaired 4 times now, Price isnt anything with them these days if its good quality

We just bought 4K worth from Early Settler (supposively premium brand) 10 weeks later and 2 replacement kitchen tables we are now searching for another.
Just bought a Besta tv unit on the weekend and its great, going back this weekend to buy the table, sofa and office storage.

AMart Furniture can be good quality, but prepare to buy top of the line in store to get something good. Everything cheap to middle priced in there is poor quality.
I had an issue with missing parts for my bed when it arrived. Went back to the store and they retrieved the parts from somewhere after about 10 minutes. I suspect they just take the bits from the next box, and repeat the customer experience for everyone.
I had an issue with parts falling off my bed a few weeks later.

I bought a sofa from them about 6 months ago and it's still fine.
6 months doesn't really count as a long time for a sofa though. We've had a leather lounge we purchased from Eureka Street Furniture for about 10 years now. Gets used every day and hasn't been looked after too well (from a leather care perspective) and is still in very good condition.
Anyone know if this 25% can be stacked with an Essendon's membership offer which already offers 10% off for all members?

Just checked the email from efc with the announcement and I quote;
"1. 10% discount on all items, including sale and already reduced items
2. Simply take your member card into any Amart Furniture store to redeem
3. Amart will verify your member number from your card!"
Probably best to confirm instore though.

So, I'd say the Essendon Membersip offer is not available with the 25% off.
I purchased a dining suite at a sale price only two weeks ago. Does anyone know if they offer a price payback refund for the difference for items that go on promotion in a certain timeframe? I know JB does such things. It would have dropped our suite from $699 to $449 ($100 sale item + extra 25% promo). Ugh.
Credit card price guarantee?
Was wondering the same. (I would have saved about $100 if I held off till this sale). I purchased with gift cards, so I can't use my Credit Card price protection.
Amart does have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. I'm thinking of reaching out to them to say I want to return my item for a refund and then repurchase a the Sale price. They might offer to refund the difference.
They had 25% off about 6 weeks ago, and picked up a few things then. Decent price after discount and as long as you don't go for their 'budget' lines it's decent quality.

Their rugs have dropped in quality. Used to be really thick but now their missing the thick threads and feel cheap, you can feel the base of the rug as you step on it. Even the sales person and warehouse guy had noticed and agreed they’re worse
