Best Business Notebook Under $600?

This $559 Acer seems to fit the bill (its still available):

My wife wants a big screen and to be able to work remotely on her office system (using "Log Me In") from home - fast data processing is the key factor. No games requirement.

Any alternative/better suggestions would be welcome before we buy in the next few days - since the market seems to change so much, thought I'd better ask.

    So you need these at least:

    Big screen (4:3 or Widescreen?)
    Keyboard size (How big?)
    Fast data transfer (By local network transfer?)
    System to be stable (Not crashing all the time)
    Medium CPU (Duo 2.0+ Ghz) and RAM (2+ Gbs)
    Medium hardrive size, maybe 500+ Gb (since it's not for games)
    Just needs several USB ports, wireless network adaptor,
    Price around $600

    Any other requirements?

    yes, big screen, ratio doesn't matter.

    "normalish" sized laptop keyboard would be fine

    adsl2 link/transfer main requirement … and yes would be good to also link up to office local network

    yes to everything else

    No other requirements.

    Thanks guys. We've gone for the Acer. Just set it up and it looks a good buy (at this early stage). All as advertised. Only quibble maybe for some others is the max. volume is not very loud, but its fine for us.

    My taxi driver said these guys (Budget) seemed to be the cheapest around, he'd recently bought something there :)
