Assuming the “investment “ is $50 and some time, why not?

"Invest"? Why is this dropshipping business seeking investors? Is it a proven business with good management? What is your estimated return on investment, in what timeframe?
Maybe
Depends
Australia doesn't have cheap labour or cheap postage to follow the Chinese model. Odds and margins are against you.
i don't think the ships would work very well after they have been dropped
not if you are drop shipping a new minimalist watch brand
This is a vague question. Give us more details. Cost of investment, time you need to spend working on it, what your preliminary thoughts are on financial return, how you expect to market the businesses service etc

Waste of time and money. Every man and his dog thinks it is the latest get rich quick scheme. Very few pull off successfully.
Drop shipping was all the rage 10 years ago. I assume all the low hanging fruit is gone and that other opportunities are limited. But hey, if you've done your research, go ahead.

I don't know…
No because you seem to have no business plan. What if the delivery is late or lost? Why would the customer shop through you when they could get it cheaper direct from your source? What kind of items are you dropshipping? What if the item the customer receives is broken or faulty?
