Mount Gambier in SA and Wonthaggi in Vic seem to have stock by the website. Too far for me to go so might have to miss out on this great deal. I have an aldi stirling fridge (possibly 2015/16 model and looks the exact same as this and cannot fault it at all).

  Probably sold last one as you were checking out, the checkouts for most websites do not put a hold on the items until after payment. IMHO they should have to honor it since they removed your chance to try another store.

        @[Deactivated]: Spoke to the manager there. He said the issue for them at Brickworks was their stocking system showed several fridges available but when they've gone to locate them this morning they don't actually have any in stock at all.
        
        Also spoke to the online orders people and they called around several other SA stores, all said no stock.

My payment has been refunded as they can’t supply the order. Just headed out to pick it up, too. I’ll head in store and see what’s on the shelf anyway.

Perhaps it was a sign that I didn’t actually need one.

got mine last night, They have a good quality cover included, a 12v plug and a 240v main plug. This is a very good deal. freeze everything a day or two before putting in car with fridge. It will help run it efficiently. It has low voltage cut off as well.

  Ran out of votes ( positive ) so came here to thank you for your follow up information. Many people ( including me ) will be happy to hear it definitely has a 240v main plug as well as a low voltage cut off.

    Its has both 240 and 12v cords included. So it comes with 2 different power cords and a cover and an internal wire plastic coated basket.

  thanks for the update on the 240V. I was a bit worried that it didn't have that capability. this looks like an Indel B fridge, and i wasn't sure whether it was a TB41 (DC only) or a TB41A (AC/DC).
  
  I could only find one in my parent's town, and have received the pick up notification. i think i'll give my mum a hurry along to go get it, as i am getting a little concerned about all these cancellations.

  4XForum did a "shootout" between Engel and National Lunar, with Campmaster being a Johnny come lately entry. They concluded that the Campmaster was the coldest, consumed the least battery power and rated it the best value for money of the three.
  
  I was rapt when I got it home and saw that the padded bag was included and that bot the 240v (jug/PC lead) and the 12v are both completely removable.

Here’s their reply when I questioned why the order was cancelled:

“Unfortunately there is a slight time delay between our warehouse system that indicates stock levels, and the ability to make the purchase on our website.
This can mean that the item is still 'available' on our website for a slight time, when our warehouse is out of stock, and an order has to be rejected.
This generally only happens when we have an unprecedented amount of interest in an item and unfortunately do not have the stock levels to support it. We always try to stock reasonable quantities for items.
We try to eliminate this as much as possible, and are developing continuous improvements on our software and website to prevent this from happening in the future.
We do frequently receive more stock each week and we are working extra hard to have all stocks replenished, so please keep an eye on the product page for updates.

We do not offer rain check.

The refund was processed back to the payment method you used.
Our sincere apologies that you experienced this error in your purchase with shopping with us.”

    Don't underestimate the ACCC. I dobbed in my local Coles once when the ran out on day 1 of a special that was advertised for 2 weeks and they refused to give a rain check.
    
    I never heard back from the ACCC, but when the same scenario happened again a few weeks later at that Coles they were extremely apologetic and offered a rain check without me asking. Some serious talking to must have had happened in the meantime… Maybe coincidence, but maybe my ACCC complaint had made its way up the chain of command…

An update here, I got a phone call from Big W online, "We are sorry for the stock issue. Are you still interested in this fridge? you have another chance to buy it at $249. " Then I went to my local BigW and paid, after which BigW online sent me the item.

This was posted 6 years 10 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal.
