$15 off Fixed Price Car Service Booked through AutoGuru

NICE15

Newish platform for booking car services from mechanics in your local area.

Was checking it the other day and getting some quotes. Didn't go ahead with the booking and got an email a few days later with this offer.

I never supplied any contact details (other than Email) so doubt it's targeted.

Enjoy!

  • “To qualify, the minimum service value must be over $120.”

What is the going rate for a basic service? Had one last week. They rotated tyres. Changed oil and put in transmission fluid. Total $750. Is that normal?!

    • $190-$199 for basic service .

    • $750! What distance service?

      • Distance service? Just regular service. Yeah thought they ripped me off. Worst part about cars is mechanics. And these are guys that I’ve been going to for years. Guess I can’t trust them.

    • That should have cost $300 max

      • You seen the cost of some ULV trans fluids? $300 for 1 litre may be a bargain!

I booked with this mob once. The mechanic told me the website charges a fee, which obviously gets passed on to the customer. He said if I had of phoned them directly and mentioned the price listed on this website, he could of actually done it cheaper.

    Just saying. YMMV.
