Laptop Suggestions? 4gb, >500gb, 15 or 16" <$1000

Just after any suggestions on a new laptop.

These are all minimum requirements:

4gb ram
500gb hd
15" or 16"
Under $1000 (preferably)

Dell seem to be putting some top class stuff atm, anything else out there? Links to other recent forum topics about this even?
