Not bad, but are you including GST here?

    • Updated price to include GST.

  • -1

    No Band 28

    • +7

Mi Mix 2S has band 28.

      • +4

It had to be said at least once

      • +1

Very very tempting though the lack of a headphone jack makes me hesitate.

        • +1

Check out ZenFone Max pro 6gb. NFC B28 dual Sim expandable storage headphone jack. Around $300

    • +2

      No NFC.
      No Netflix HD.

Now we got it out of the way let's have discussion about better phones one can buy at this price.

    • +1

RN5 can be purchased with band 28..
      https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1422936-REG/xiaomi_yi…
There is also an ebay seller in the US … check WP for that.

Looks like both Mi 8 Lite versions have B28.

      • Yea Mi 8 Lite seems to have but gsmarena says it doesn't and Redmi Note 6 Pro does?

Do they both have B28 or not?

        • Withe the RN6Pro resellers are just copying the specs from the Xiaomi site which shows two sets of network bands, one with and one without B28. They dont edit the specs list to show the version they are selling. All seem to be be the non B28 one from feedback from sellers.
It seems like there will be 2 versions of the RN6Pro just like there was with the RN5.

  • Good price on Mi Mix 2s. Would get if I didn't already have a mi mix 2

    • +4

I know it's going to be pricy but the Mix 3 looks rad. I used to love flicking sliding Nokia's open and shut.

      • Top spec will be 800aud according to reports. Better than OnePlus

      • If they can replicate the same kind of feel, I would definitely be all over it. looks like sliding phones might come back now

  • +2

Pocophone & Note 5 cheaper at GearBest with express shipping also.

    • Both are more expensive?

      • Prices at AliExpress above exclude GST.

    • Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 4GB 64GB US $171.10 (~AU $245) | Xiaomi Pocophone F1 6GB 128GB US $319.32 (~AU $457.28) Shipped @ GearBest

      Am i missing something?

      • You have to add GST to AliExpress price so Note 5 is $268.

        • Ah. In that case, pretty lame/average deal for Pocophone.

        • so the gearbest one already includes GST even if paying in USD? I've bought stuff from Overseas and found GST added as a seperate transaction on my creditcard? just want to make sure in case I miss the ali one

          • @whatthecrappin: GearBest recently stopped charging GST, so that is the total price.

    • +5

Given the experience I had with gearbest in the past I'd take official xiaomi store and a few days extra wait over them any day.

      • +2

I can confirm that gearbest are a rip off and when things go wrong they do not refund all your money.

  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 came out earlier in this year, now Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is available, is this legit?

    • Yes, there is a RN6. It has a notch.

  • +1

would love to see a mix 3, that looked so cool

  • +1

Looks like there isn't much of a difference between Note 5 and Note 6 pro.

  • Sorry if this question sounds a bit dumb. Which phone has the best camera? Any model that's cheaper and better than Samsung Note 9?

    • All Xiaomi models are cheaper than N9.
Camera ranking by DxOMark (for relevant models):
      1. N9
      2. Mix 3 (same overall score as N9, but no deal here)
      3. Mi 8
      4. Mix 2S

  • Every time I see the thumbnail I was like reading "EXPIRED".

I've never bought from Aliexpress before. Have a couple questions and would appreciate anyone help me out…

I'm assuming I want the Global version vs Chinese for the Mi Band - is it just language differences?

Is the NFC version useful in Au?

Does it make any difference where I choose to have it shipped from?

  • Any issues getting TRS from items bought from Aliexpress?

  • Is there actually any difference between the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Chinese/ Global version?

    the site says:

GLOBAL VERSION, support multi-language,Global Version with CE certificate, will follow your phone´s language.

CHINESE VERSION, The latest APP update firmware can support English, Spanish, Russian, French, Korean, German, Italian, polish and etc language.

Both versions support english…. Anyone have any experience?

    • +1

I think Global Version comes with Google service.

  • Is b28 all that important?

Pocophone f1 6+128gb for 303 usd plus postage
    Is this better deal?
