Citibank Credit Card Sign-up Bonus Points - When Will They Be Deposited?

Hi all,

Signed up for Citibank Platinum Rewards Credit Card 100k Bonus Points $49 Annual Fee First Year OR Citibank Simplicity No Annual Fee for Life (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/395977) and the application was approved on 17th August 2018.

Have met the $3000 within 90 days requirement and hence was wondering if anyone has access to a copy of the T&C (which is no longer on the Citibank website) showing how long it will take before the points hit my account. I know I can call Citibank's CS but I have learnt from this forum that they aren't the brightest.

    just call or email them be polite ask them to check if you have met $3000 and ask if they can give the points. they will check make sure all your payments are not to the government bodies, etc etc according to their policy.

    asking ozb, what can we do….. if someone here say "i got the points in 1 week", the other person say "1 month" but you havent got … you end up contacting them at the end anyway….

    edit: yes i applied the same offer and got the points and already cancelled the card.

    Around 1-2 months after spending criteria is met. It is straight forward.

    Just feels more comfortable with a clear set of T&Cs when discussing with bank people.
    Anyway, will wait and call around end December.

    i called up a few times they tried to tell me i hadnt spent 3k when in fact i had done using diners card too for the extra points. i had to complain and finally just got my points. i think it was because i used diners card their system didn't compute total spend correctly best to call up.
