    Not a deal anymore:D

  • +1

I think it is still a deal considering….TGG Commercial is sold out…

  • +2

300 will be a good deal, with TRS will be lower than tgg deal

    • Slightly. But if you buy TGGC deal with some other item that brings it up to $300, you're getting a discount on that filler item.

$300 is going to be hard to reach this soon though.

      • Can you make TRS via purchasing in TGG commercial over $300? Cheers

        • Question:

So I bought one through my TGG Commerical account and it says the customer is Member Benefits Australia (VIC) even though the "delivery customer" is me.

I then went and bought from the same store (same ABN) another product on a separate date (ie separate invoice too) to bring the total over $300 and now the sales customer is me, not Member Benefits Australia (obviously).

My question thus is… will I come into problems with TRS? I paid for everything, same ABN, but potentially the "customer" was different on the 2 different invoices.

        • If they give you a tax invoice, don't see why not.

  • Thanks Op, finally bought one. Now to book a flight to test NC.

    Come-on $300!

Can't really work this out. These retail for around AUD $500 or over in pretty much all other countries. What's doing? I mean these have been around the AUD $350-$400 range here for a fair while now.

Just checked Best Buy US and it's $350 USD so around $485 AUD.

    • +1

True. I checked this out before they came out in Australia, wondering if I could pick them up cheaper overseas. But everyone it was advertised $500AUD+. Not sure what happened, but it's a good thing.

I just came back from Japan, and over there it still is $500+AUD.. was planning to make an open order for some of my friends in Japan who wants these cheap..

I was wondering the same thing. Then I've read of people having issues with call quality and someone saying it was due to a bad batch as someone mentioned on whirlpool. It's got me wondering if Sony are just dumping these ones for cheap to us? If so, $250 or less would be more suitable price :)

      • +1

That would be stupid if they were only discounted due to being a bad batch, They are still under warranty and would end up costing sony even more money to replace/fix + hassle + damage to image

        • +2

          Not many people would notice.

    • I was under the impression people are undercutting each other right now because it's in a flash sale period as it's just come out and everyone's talking about it, and it will go back up later after they got rid of the initial surplus

US Price is $350 + Tax which is about 9.5% in California for example.

Australian economy, particularly retail, is not performing well at the moment so lots of discounting across the board.

    • I wish huawei would do the same…the mate 20 pro is super expensive compared to say, NZ or China

  • this colour look nothing like silver, its more like champagne gold

    • yeah I bought silver without having a proper look at it at jb the other day, does not look like silver at all

    • Does it look like the Gold Beige of the XM2? That's the one I have, but it looked nothing like the pictures either. It's a darker, khaki/taupe looking colour.

    • My silver ones look pretty silver to me?

      • It's a biege-y silver

    Any NVIDIA Shield deals?

  • +1

Odd that JB have completely removed these from their website. Love my pair but yeh call quality is atrociois so think that maybe there was a bad batch!

  • +1

Bad batch indeed if your set has a call issue it's a known hardware fault (mic) that posters on Reddit (US) are getting replacements for. However replacements may also have same fault! Also seen a not charging fault noted.I purchased a black set from JB more than 2 weeks ago was promised they would arrive within three days. No sign of them yet yet. Seems if you get a good set they are a great.
