Hi guys,
I purchased this current months Humble Bundle (Warner Brothers ft. Batman: Akrham games and Bastion etc) and noticed there was an option to subscribe and get $2 off next months if I did. I decided not to at the time, and did not select a subscription and just purchased that month. After a bit I perused the revealed games and now think it's a good buy as the first complete season of Hitman is included in the bundle, as well as 7 days to die, which those two are enough for the price tag.
Upon entering the Humble Bundle website, I get a pop up (while I'm not logged in), stating:
"GET 10% OFF HUMBLE MONTHLY
Subscribe for $10/mo and get Hollow Knight, HITMAN: The Complete First Season, and 7 Days to Die (MSRP: $99.97) now, with more to come!"
So I've clicked 'Get Humble Monthly", however the payment page is still showing $12 a month (as I want a month to month subscription). The advertisement says "Subscribe for $10/month" in black and white, and there's no note or sub-clause to state that it's a once off deal or anything. I have found on their FAQ that it is for New subscribers, which even though I have an account with them, I believe I am as I currently do not have a subscription? I have subscribed once before by accident 12+ months ago, but I still don't feel like they can advertise it for $10/month without any annotation stating terms and conditions re: the discount? I feel like this is misleading af, and wondered if I am to purchase it for the $12/mo, can I dispute it to a higher power if they don't want to know about it? (which I think they will do exactly that)
Cool story bro.
