There was a similar deal at clive peters posted month or two back, but this one involves free postage for those that can't get to a store.
Cheap and affordable data storage for anyone.

Thanks, bought 3
5 Year warranty!
I'm going to collect a few to transfer large files between my computers.
They will definitely die, due to the number of write cycles, but hey they will still replace it for some odd reason.
You'd be better off with an external hard drive.
Why don't you just setup a network and transfer that way, much easier and quicker
4GB is hardly a large file these days. Surely you are not going to split a file onto several sticks? Why not a cheap USB HD or a network as the previous 2 have written?
Cheapest and most effective way for portable storage, buy 2.5 " SATA Case, and buy or find used 2.5 ' SATA HDD, can purchase both for about $25, and storage is about 50GB
exactly what i done as well
got 3x40GB out of my laptops and bought 2 IDE 2.5" cases
works nice
Anyone know what the speeds are like with these?
hard to find…
check here

5th one from the bottom of the table.
Cheers
does it really matter?? just a handy cheap 4g usb memory, that is it.
Sure it matters. I use them mostly to transfer movies over to the TV.
Some of them can be incredibly slow, so I prefer the quick ones
I was about to go in store and pay $6.98 THANKS HEAPS!!!!!!!!!!!
"Currently unavailable online"
Confirmed.
Are these available instore aswell?
Looks like you guys bought them out, nice work :D

still not understanding why people neg that, it's not like it's a Broden amount of usbs :S
currently unavailable online?
perhaps already sold out…
same goes to all big w promotion for the past few days.. :(
but that's very cheap, including postage…
Check the store availability. Shown as in stock some stores.
nice entry!!
Like your work!
Warringah Mall sold out though shows stock on web page.
Not unusual.
sold out at bigw macq centre nsw =[
There were some left at Narellan today.
Was at Macquarie Centre today about 5:30 pm - saw a stack of them about 20. Didn't get any as they looked cheap (also didn't need any). Would prefer the Imation at OW for $1.66 more http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Dat…
Sunshine, Melbourne - Has about 5 or so left. Just got myself 4 of them :)
Damn, they got OZbargained.
repost, sorry
I wouldnt use thse to move large files.. 3-5Mbps is shocking slow
nice price
just received an email from BigW that my 4 sticks are on its way to………..me. I will use these in for mp3 in my car.
I have this exact same drive however it died only after 4 months :/ - lucky I was able to recover some of the files from it.
I don't exactly know how flash drives can die (only corrupt)……… My recommendation would be to stay from this one.
When does the deal end??
Damnit Broden I bet you're behind this again!!!!
How many did you buy? 100? 1000?
arghhhhhhh >_<
Careful, I got 2 negs for mentioning that name - see my post above.
3 actually! People are douches, I think they've all lost their sense of humour.
i got heaps of + last time i mention him lol!
infact i got 7+ lol!!!
nice…

we should create a 'broden' list
those who fail(with - votes) and those who succeed (with + votes)
@issh lol
What did Broden actually buy to attain 'OzBargain Legend' status? Also, in what quantities?
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/epic_threads
Enjoy
(btw your question is answered in the most negatively voted comment section, but there are plenty more Broden posts scattered around like this: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/38616?page=9#comment-375042)
In stock at Epping VIC according to the website. Also broadmeadows, highpoint, doncaster, queen vic, south yarra, box hill, sunshine, watergardens & forest hill.
Good deal, like it!
If you can't find these locally and don't mind forking out an extra $1.66, Officeworks has Imation 4GB flash drives for $6.94. My local Officeworks had a metric buttload of these in stock a couple of days back.
bought 2 at centro arndale in SA
have few more in stock
Finaly got mine today.
the problem with these cheap-like-chips sticks is the max file size they allow. fragmentation at its worst.
one thing I hate about BigW catalogues is they get crap all quantities of sale items. My local had 5 of these from the start and the manager said he will push the facings up or something to get more???
Bought 4, thanks for the headup.
