    I'm actually disappointed by how the game runs on the one X. I have it hooked up to my 1080p monitor and it doesn't seem to go above 30fps. Sad. Looks amazing though. Definitely one of the best looking games I have ever played. If it runs so bad on the one X then god forbid I fear how it runs on the base consoles.
    Just a warning, yes the base PS4 is powerful but I wouldn't recommend buying anything BUT the pro or the one X right now.

      I'm running it (rdr2) on the xbox 1 s and i haven't experienced low frame rate thus far. On a 65inch tv. Mind you I've only played about 20 minutes it might be more noticeable in a different area

        As far as I know it's capped at 30fps on any console at any resolution. That's my problem. Don't get me wrong the game looks stunning on the One X native 4k or downscaled but I'd rather have an option to play it natively at @1080p60.
        Performance is probably the same on my console and yours, just different settings.

      it runs 30fps on all consoles has nothing to do with the Xbox One X also it's running 30fps most of the time at 4K so i'm not sure what you're talking about.

        Yeah idk why I said that I completely forgot that it's running at 4k. I think what I was trying to say is that it may not look so good on the base consoles as compared to the one X or the pro. pls forgive me it's 1:30am

        It’s just so on trend to rubbish the Xbox. Never mind the poster hasn’t done any research on games that actually do run at 60fps.

          I'm not trashing on the xbox I love it. I'm just saying that RDR2 is a game that should be played in 60fps and not 30, at least on the one X which we know could handle it at a lower resolution. Maybe not for the other consoles.

            @Ostrk: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe any Rockstar open world game has run above 30fps on console when it launched?

            So why would their largest, most ambitious game ever from a technical standpoint reach 60fps when GTAV couldn't even do it?

      Buying it cheaper elsewhere is a good reason to neg a deal, however just in case you're not aware, a One X is not a PS4.
