The year is 1989. You are a man named Henry who has retreated from your messy life to work as a fire lookout in the Wyoming wilderness. Perched high atop a mountain, it’s your job to look for smoke and keep the wilderness safe. An especially hot, dry summer has everyone on edge.

Your supervisor, a woman named Delilah, is available to you at all times over a small, handheld radio, your only contact with the world you've left behind. But when something strange draws you out of your lookout tower and into the world, you’ll explore a wild and unknown environment, facing questions and making choices that can build or destroy the only meaningful relationship you have.

  Fantastic game. Well worth 10x that money.

  I suggest turning off the map current location marker in settings when you start. It feels like the game was designed assuming it was off and then turned on by default at the last minute. You have plenty to guide you without it.

  Game is well made and started off good but I thought the second half of the story, and particularly the rushed feeling of the ending, was very weak.

  Worth it for this price, but don't expect too much imho.

  Absolutely fantastic game/experience. Recommend just going in blind and making the choices that feel right at the time.

  Found this game chronically overrated, I loved the theme and visuals but just wasn't anything super special to me. So many more I enjoyed way more.

  It is a quick play through and something different but just didn't hit the mark for me, 6/10

  Loved this game. I still have the photos that were printed from those I took with the in-game camera which you could pay for at the end of the game!

  IMO, at this price, it'll be worth it for most people, I paid a lot more (Nintendo Tax).

  The game is highly rated, and yes, overrated for what it is. If you go into it knowing the art style and understanding what the basic gameplay is going to be like then you should be in for a decently enjoyable experience.

  I found the story a little short, the end did feel a little rushed and annoyingly I got stuck in an area where I was sure I had investigated everything quite well, but I had missed one small detail which prevented my progress. Limited to no replayability unless you want to explore every possible alternative. Still had a great time, but then this is my sort of game.

  I played this on PS4. I think it's worth mentioning that at times the game suffered from performance issues with stuttery framerates. I might have just noticed this more because I normally game on a PC with a high refresh rate monitor. Aside from that this game was a really nice time. For the price you pretty much can't go wrong.
