      I asked about this in another deal.. It "seems" they contain Seagate Barracuda Compute drives these days:

        So 'Compute' are the Seagate's attempt at a 'green' drive?

        55% rated at 5 'eggs' and 26% rated at 1 'egg' from NewEgg reviews. Seems to be hit-and-miss.

          @Bob81: Almost all drives on Newegg have over 20% 1-egg reviews, like the WD Green 6tb, 26% 1 egg reviews out of 1000+ reviews

          Unhappy people are much more likely to leave reviews than happy people ;)

          That said, I'm a bit of a WD fan, I ended up paying more for a couple of 8tb WD essential drives…
