Pity no HDMI. Non-glare screen good.
this is why its cheap. DVI and VGA only kinda stinks even back in 2008 or so… its now 2018.
Glue this in. $1.

Do I need a third monitor? oh who am I kidding I don't even use my second one more than ten seconds a day -_-
Let me save you some trouble, the answer is YES
Try putting one in portrait mode, you might actually really like it
I would but considering my second monitor is the same size as my main it would look hella weird.
It will look weird but also handy. I dunno. Try it man. Unless you have
Who uses a monitor of this size though?
I've had my 24" monitors since 2007. 21.5" seems small in 2018 (not that she would say that)
Developers or others who stare at code all day, who don't really need a large monitor for vertically displaying their editors.
Or for viewing their error consoles, depending on how productive they want to be on the day.
Fair enough, I still would have thought bigger (to an extent) is better still but I don't code so I'll take your word for it.
The other problem with this particular monitor is it's 16:9, a 16:10 resolution would be better for the extra vertical?
@Click_It: I never really understood that argument? Why didn't we stick with 4x3 then?
@jonathonsunshine: I think 16:10 is the balance between 4:3 and 16:9 personally. I'm biased because the only LCD's I've ever owned are my 24" 16:10's which replaced my 4:3 CRT's in 2007 so I've never actually owned a 16:9.
I'm still tossing up whether I stick with 24" 16:10 or join the masses on 16:9 but upgrade to 27 or 32" 2560x1440. For me, 2560x1600 would be the sweet spot again (16:10) but the cheapest option there is Dell's expensive 30".
One of the things I do is write work manuals, with 16:10 I can view 2 pages side by side (1 monitor) at 114% magnification. On 16:9 doing that means losing the top or bottom of the pages which would drive me crazy pretty quickly.
You are right though, I presume you're saying you are happy with 16:9 as most are.
It's easy on the eyes though, so just sit closer :D
"Robust connectivity including DVI-D and D-sub ports." yet it has no HDMI or Display Port? Uhhh…?
At least it's VESA-mountable though
what makes this eyecare? the 1ms?
