  From the previous time it was posted and called a scam:

  Discount card for restaurants, bottle shops, computer repair, etc. Only works in qld though.

  Feel free to call / email me (contact details on website) if you have not received yours yet, although, i just checked my records and I have no one that fits your ozbargain ID that has registered with the card.
  Let me know if you have registered under a different name / or I could have gotten your address wrong.

  If you haven't registered for the card, why would you reply saying that its a scam? Around 150 clients of mine already have the card.

  I've filed a report on this one, asking for a grey area ruling. As this 'deal' is being offered by a real estate agency, it smells like a blatent attempt to build a marketing database of the backs of OzBargain. This is specially when, on the face of, the deals seem of rather low quality.

  Further, I'd contend that the sign up method for the deal is in breach of the Spam Act 2003 (Cwlth) as it fails to specify or offer the opt-out method up front.

  So, I'm going to throw a neg on this which I will revoke if the issues with this deal are addressed.

  Hi Winchester,

  I apologize if I have offended you or any of the ozbargain members. Yes, I am using this as an exercise to build brand / market awareness for my services but at the same time would have liked to offer something back to the community.

  Furthermore, I may have not been as clear as I thought I was in my explanation. I am a Brisbane Based Real Estate Agent and I have created / attempting to create to a 'VIP Club' for my clients. This card entitles the bearer to discounts from the businesses listed on the affiliate page. I am offering this card to ozbargain members as I thought it would gain the business a lot more exposure quickly in the event arises that someone would need a real estate agents services in the future.

  I understand that the deals are not the best in the world, but I am working to get more businesses on board as my work expands.

  Also, I was not aware of that specific clause in the Act. I have an opt-out method / unsubscribe in all my emails but I'll get the developer to put a statement or two on the website specifiying the opt-out method up front.

  Once again, I apologies if I have offended any of the oz bargain members. I merely was trying to offer a few deals if anyone was interested and to help the businesses that are already on board.

    You get the actual physical card in the mail and the businesses are listed on the link above. My goal is to get 100 businesses to offer discounts, hopefully will get bigger brands and more value adding discounts.
