    Thanks OP!

As for favorite thriller/horror movies, I would have to say Christopher Nolan's are my favourites. Inception, Interstellar, Memento, Prestige. Non-Nolan: Prisoners (2013)

Nolan is a genius. Since my favorites are Hitchcock classics, I was fascinated by Nolan after watching his first feature Following, a black-and-white crime thriller.

"When you think of a visual style, when you think of the visual language of a film, there tends to be a natural separation of the visual style and the narrative elements. But with the greats, whether it's Stanley Kubrick or Terrence Malick or Hitchcock, what you're seeing is an inseparable, a vital relationship between the image and the story it's telling"

"Nolan and Fincher Discuss Malick in New 'Tree of Life' Featurette".

I'd like to watch your recommended Prisoners (2013) this weekend. Thank you for sharing!
