Binding of Isaac has been my crack ever since it was first released initially in its flash format.
If you like difficult platformers (eg. Super Meat Boy), I highly recommend The End Is Nigh, made by the same guy as Super Meat Boy (and Binding of Isaac).
All these prices are below $47. I don't understand
I wouldn't expect you to understand the production values of one game vs these games.
Well, if you're going to start comparing normal prices, RDR2 is $100 minimum and up to $150 for the "ultimate" edition…whatever that is.
Plus, you know, different people like different games.
Oh, is that normal price is it? See how many are selling it for $100 vs $69, and than see what is normal.
You seem very defensive about this
@Faro: I apologise if I came across like that. What I mean is, some of these games have been under $5 on Steam, and to see one at $60 (normal price on the Switch), is a bit disheartening.
Your comparison is flawed. You can only get RDR2 for $47 IF you pre-order from Amazon AND use the $15 app credit. Not really a fair comparison to make.
As @Ninternet pointed out, you're being very defensive.
@choodi: Missed the point. Hit the target next time. Is this OzBargain or RRP? You come to the site to find value, understand that point. The normal price isn't a fair comparison to what the game has been on other platforms.
@RocketSwitch: So why did you make a comparison to the normal price then?
@choodi: I see what you mean. I was looking at the value difference. As you said, not comparison to normal price, otherwise it would be $60 vs $69. Since it's a site for bargains, I was making an observation off RRP vs sale price vs value.
It might not all be the same, but the point I was making is your money can be better spent.
@RocketSwitch: You're wrong again. Some people see better value in smaller simple games over big intimidating open world adventures like Red Dead Redemption. Value is subjective, stop thinking that your opinion of a game is the only valid one.
For the record, I'm buying Red Dead and I don't own any of those Nicalis games.
@choodi: You thinking I'm wrong is wrong. My opinion, not wrong or right, but it's valid :) Never did I say that what I wrote is fact or the only valid opinion. Remember, opinions are subjective :)
All for the promotion of Nicalis' (mostly) proper good games.
But why not put up the whole sale? I just got both Mega Man X Legacy Collections from the sale. Nearly picked up a couple other things as well.
There's over 100 items on sale at the moment. Nicalis published games take up less than 10% of the current sale. All I'm saying.
The sale changes pretty often, multiple games having different sale end dates.
Is it possible to see what's on sale without browsing on the Switch itself?
The best way to do this is visit the Vooks website. They're a small site but damn are they of high and thorough quality.
Every single week without fail they update their site with all the new releases, all the new sales (including sale prices and original prices) and ongoing sales from previous weeks.
I read vooks, but u/nintendeals on reddit is better.
I’m a bit disappointed at Isaac’s $60 bade price. Even at $30 it’s a tough sell if you’ve played it a lot on PC.
isaac is a great game could not recommend it enough
