….2000w eh? how many eneloops is that?
Well, continuous rated power is 1600W for 3.3 hrs.
That is about 2,200 Eneloops. (Or 475 18650 3.0Ah batteries).
Hence why petrol is still the way to go for a few years yet for portable applications…
Did you end up buying one? Or has anyone used these?
I was looking at one at Costco last week, and the description says it has 2 x 15A outlets - but I could only actually see one. I got distracted by something shiny (and oversized) elsewhere before I could ask a staffmember for clarification
specs say 2x15A, photos i only see one 240V plug. Potentially the second 15A is not 240V??
There is only one 240V outlet.
One 12V outlet, 8.3A.
(The ST3200i model is 35kg and has 2x15A 240V outlets. This model is 20kg).
no,but thinkibg about buying one as back up.I have a ebay one
Sorry to get sidetracked, but how do you find the eBay one? I usually borrow a Honda eu20 off my friend, but would like to get my own.
Part of me thinks I should just buy the Honda and have it last me forever - but then part of me thinks I should get either an eBay one or this Stanley. I'd only use it a couple of times a year when camping.
I have the Honda e201 it's fabulous. Quiet , economical runs the air conditioner in my caravan no worries. I just looked at the Stanley at Costco and it looks good. Also huge warranty with Costco
ebay one is good,I need a back up in the same price range,
Seems that Stratco selling for $549.
Good find. $10 delivery if you're not near a Stratco store that has stock (not many such stores around).
$840?
price back to 838 just when I about to pay.lucky I double checked the cart.
Oh how tricky of them
I think it's web error,I have the current catalogue,it's $838,and follow your link it first showed $549,but the st1000i showed $899 same time when the st2000i showed $549 for a short while.
Perhaps price is set according to your location? I've just bought one online for $549, will pick up from Campbelltown store.
good on you!
Thank you, I got one this morning. For the record, there was one left on the shelves in Canberra, and a couple of the 6.5kVA ones at $1299
