  Funny, because on 3DS, transformed is buggy garbage. Some tracks freeze if Sonic is used…it was never tested, other tracks can have track doors closed, leaving all racers in limbo. It's so bad.

    I'm not a fan of MK8 for the same reason.

  I liked the original more too. The Transforming gimmick is a tad annoying as I love the karting element but the boating and flying bits were frustrating for me.
  
  Plus, unlocking characters etc on the original was easier.
