[VIC] Bananas $0.50 Each @ 7-Eleven

I just popped into 7eleven to grab a banana. Found that they are 1/2 price this month. i.e. Normally $1, now 50 cents. Looking closer at the poster, it does say all fruit.

I could not find anything on their website.

This was in Melbourne CBD. I don't know if this is nation wide.

    Can you buy just one banana at ALDI? From memory, you have to buy a pre-packed bag of bananas that would end costing a few dollars.

    So if I wanted just one banana, 50 cents is a bargain compared to the price I would have to pay at Aldi.

    I could be wrong though.

    Bananas are $4KG at my local Aldi. I actually think this "50c each" would work out on par or cheaper per KG, depending on the size/weight per banana.

    Banana's at Coles / Woolies are nudging $5 a kilo at the minute, the last single banana I bought was over $1, so seems like a reasonable deal to me, unless Aldi is less than $2.50~$3 per kilo.

  Bananas $2.20kg @ Coles Wetherill Park they've been around this price for about a month.

    Please provide evidence. Current VIC price $5 / kg. Low quality bananas in South Melbourne market $3/kg at closing time. This is cheaper.
