  • What's the difference between surge protection and surge suppression?

    • same same, but different marketing terms ;-)

  • Does anyone know if the double surge protector got the plug in the middle or to the left or right?

    • The plug is on the left. It's somewhat bulky, but fine if you use it on a single power point.

      • If I use it on a double power point, would I be able to plug something in on the right side or its too bulky for that?

        • If you plug this surge protector on the left side of a double power point, it unfortunately covers the whole right side. If you plug it on the right power point, I'm unable to fit a standard size plug on the left power point. It also blocks the power switch when you use the right power point.

          • @sagacity: Thanks, very helpful! Ill keep looking for another product that suit my needs then! Cheers

            • @nagel: You're welcome. It's not too bad, but sadly it has a few shortcomings.

  • +2

damn the single cube has 1836 joule protection… that's 3x more than the 6x board Belkin (650joules) from this deal. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/407507

  • Very good value for the protection, been looking for one to protect my laptop on the go.

  • +1

I bought the 4 way board at Bunnings last week for around $19.

    • Where? There aren't any Crest powerboards listed on the website.

  • Notting hill in Vic. At the back where all the other power boards are, they were hanging on the column. There were around 6 left end of last week.
