  Why don’t adidas, Nike, ect. tone down their colour schemes so that there are less clearance items like this. Don’t get me wrong, they’re nice shoes but they don’t go with everything.

    I think that if they're a hit, then they're a hit. Not only would they increase sales, but the product looks more marketable and could probably be seen as a point of difference with a whacky colour scheme. I do completely get what you're saying though.

    It would reduce the nightmare of navigating through the different prices and sizes when you've found a pair of shoes you like.

    Same shoe but because I don't want in in fluro yellow…I need to pay $50+ more! 😒

  Not that limited, just that the purple might deter a lot of people which is ultimately a large chunk of their target market.

    Well… they are straight out copying Nike, which is probably the first "mistake". The "purple" shoe has like three different colours going through it, so I think they are going for a kind of modern, slightly abstract style. The grey one is unusual because you can hardly see the three stripes.
