Nice find mate :)
Not at my local Aldi this morning.
They were 5.50ish per kilo. Remember making a mental note that it was dearer than ColesThey were the lose ones. These were prepacked
cool as!
Name checks out 👀
I'm suprised Peter Dutton let them into the country
Don't try to give Katter one of these or he might flip out
How the heck did you always find these deals 🎖

Don't buy produce wrapped in plastic, it's unnecessary. Especially things like cucumbers.
It does keep the cucumbers much fresher.
Significantly reduces wastage, so less produce gets sent of to landfill and less fossil fuels consumed transporting produce from farm to store only to be thrown out.
I haven't seen an analysis looking at cucumbers specifically, but bottom line is that the environmental case against plastic packaging isn't as clear cut as it first appears. It increases wastage not decreases it. Now people are forced to buy a set amount unlike if it were loose people can buy what they need.
Need only one or two?or Pay more for the loose ones? Nar I can use up a pack, buy it, can’t use it, in the bin. Typical scenario
It makes a word of difference figuring out what is it when we have to code it in.
You can’t recognise a cucumber?
Lebanese Cucumber 600g

Why are cucumbers so expensive?
Why are chooks so cheap?
Supply - demand
Cause these are "Fully Sick" Lebanese variety.
These should be much cheaper as they are ridiculously easy to grow and you get a huge crop off each plant.
I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be a winter crop, but we grew them in abundance through spring and summer one year.Recent drought? Cucumbers have a lot of water in them. The East Coast has been having a lot of rain over the past few weeks, so this could bring prices down soon.
Because it’s not cucumber season for most of Australia. Out of season vegetables are always expensive.
We’re just planting our cucumbers now. Peak season will begin in two months or so for temperate regions of Australia.
Buying veggies in season is always cheaper. It’s a bit crazy to buy cucumbers in winter or early spring, or to buy cabbages in the middle of summer. But people seem to do it anyway.
I see. Thanks
$2.99 Mate!!! none of this 33c extra…
