Glass Repair for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

Hey Ozbarginers,

I recently called up a local phone repair shop to ask for a quote for my Samsung S7 Edge as the glass is broken. Their quote is $350, and they discounted to $330 with same day fix. My question is this a rip-off, or is it generally this expensive to fix? I saw on the Samsung website it around $270 for this model.

    i had the same issue, it turns out the cost of the screen is worth more the the value of the phone, binned and upgraded

    You can still sell it to Mobile Monster or Mazuma with a broken screen for about $60.

    Seems reasonable. But I think for that price they will just be replacing the whole screen assembly. Not the glass as that is too labor intensive.

    Same problem been using broken screen Samsung s6 edge since 25th Oct 2016 lol

    Try asking Samsung Australia.

    The RRP for Samsung S7 Edge Screen Replacement is $210

    Note: They will only service AU Stock Phone
