Buyer be ware with Amart. We just had our first and final experience with them. We bought their Kota furniture, which is all wooden. The pieces were not measured to the correct size and didn't fit. For example, with the chest of drawers, one of the drawers wasn't wide enough and therefore couldn't sit on both rails in order to be opened and closed. Delivery also took nearly 4 weeks longer than they had promised at the point of sale.
The refund process has also been a real hassle, although finally someone in the Nunawading store has tried to be helpful. They finally collected the stuff yesterday but we're still yet to receive our money back.
Obviously this won't be everyone's experience, otherwise they wouldn't still be in business, but just be careful with what you choose to buy from them.
I can vouch for the wonkiness of some of their stuff. I bought https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/361857 and one of the legs was shorter than the other three. I decided after buying it that I'd open it up 4 months later, and then when I began to assemble it, found this issue. I called them and they were helpful enough to swap it out with a correct size leg the same day. A bit hit and miss with the quality of their stuff (and post sales support) I guess.
It must be cheaper for them to order in bulk and swap parts after the fact, rather than employing proper quality control before the stuff is shipped in the first place.
Excludes outdoor sets which sucks. Good if you after individual pieces though.
