  I don't think at this price it's that good a deal at this point in time, especially since the Hero 7s are out.

  I can't help but notice that there the Hero 5 Black is still in huge number of stock everywhere, whereas the Hero 6 seems to be more limited and not on sale at as many places. Given GoPro has stopped selling them on their website now that the Hero 7s are out, I believe there should be good sale coming up for the Hero 5 at least to clear stock! Just have to wait out.GoPro Hero 6 is definitely a good buy if the price is in the $400 range compared to Hero 7 Silver, since it has all to Hero 7 functions minus the new features like hypersmooth and live broadcasting.

    This is what I'm struggling with…. A few months ago Amazon had it for $299 in a bundle.

      Agree this feels meh when you can get a Hero 2018 via Myer eBay ATM for like less than $260.
