There is still a significant saving compared to the Apple store.

I agree - cheaper than Apple store so deserves to be posted separately.
Thumbs up here. I cancelled my refurb order and bought one from Big W, $10 more is worth it for new, plus the added bonus of having cases for 50% off, so Apple case was $24.xx
Thanks for the post.
Many apologies Bargainaholic. My dyslexia at play here.
Your's was the orginal post and I have blown it by moving it to the forums. This cannot be reversed. I have left the 3rd post up as it is more complete than the second, and posted an apology there to you as well.
people make mistakes, you don't have to go questioning his competence, He has been doing great stuff for a while. Take it easy :)
wow you cannot be serious, right?
take it easy, ozpete is one of the better moderators on ozbargain - he is critical of other moderator decisions which is very healthy for a community.
Fair comment - Must look like I got it out of a cornflake box. ;-0
Well, now you'll just have to tell us which cornflake box it was, and if you got it at a bargain… :)
This is no longer a "bargain". We have had a number of recent posts on the iPad 1, this is now the new price for the iPad 1 as Apple has reduced the price permanently on this with the iPad 2 being released.
This is evidenced by Apple refunding anyone who had bought an iPad 1 in past 14 days under their reduced price guarantee.
Moved to Forums as its a information piece that may be of interest to members
Also a little naughty of BigW to claim it's a saving of $200 when it's the new price by Apple. Probably better to say its a permanent price reduction…
MOD EDIT
BTW please dont neg this post, not because I blew it which I have, just that it hides this so people may not see the complete story in the context.
